Everglades
The Everglades, at the very southern tip of Florida is a vast area of swamy grasslands fed by the Kissimmee River and Lake Okeechobee. To help preserve this region, President Truman made the everglades a national park back in 1947. This park, draws over one million visitors every year and is an important habitat for lots of birds and fish.
